Terk HDTVlp Description

A combination indoor/outdoor antenna, Terk’s new HDTVlp is a high-performance, all-band HDTV antenna designed for installation in areas where line-of-sight to the transmission tower is blocked. Featuring a unique direction/bi-directional design, the HDTVlp includes a removable scatter plane that helps achieve the highest reception of reflected broadcast signals.

Incorporating a digital low-noise amplifier (LNA), the Terk HDTVlp is designed to pickup over-the-air broadcast signals of both UHF and VHF channels. The LNA rating of less than 1dB helps filter out unwanted signals and background transmissions.

The antenna itself is designed with screen-printed elements on the frame using a conductive ink. This special ink provides superior signal capturing performance that is perfect for HDTV reception. With a profile of only 26” wide by 5” high by 5” deep, the HDTVlp can be installed indoors or outdoors.

The removable scatter plate allows the antenna to be used for either a directional or bi-directional reception depending on your location and environment. With the plate removed the antenna becomes a bidirectional unit.

The Terk HDTVPlp features a beam width of 64 degrees that helps the antenna capture signals received by its forward-facing, high-gain antenna. Unwanted signals are rejected from the rear. This design helps to provide superior HDTV reception with reflected broadcast signals.
