The Winegard SS-2000 is an indoor/outdoor analog and DTV/HDTV antenna that is designed specifically for the metropolitan/urban marketplace to receive both analog and DT/HDTV signals from up to 45 miles without a clear line of sight. It can integrate directly into existing satellite dish setups for ease of use allowing the user to receive exceptional broadcast signals from local stations for both analog broadcasts and HD broadcasts.
The SS-2000 comes with Winegard’s digital pre-amp that helps boost digital reception with an input level of 300,000mV. Combined with a 12dB gain across the entire bandpass, the Winegard SS-2000 delivers exceptional digital broadcasts in a clarity never before seen for broadcast signals.
Incorporating Winegard’s “SquareShooter” antenna design, the 16” square antenna is designed for situations where line-of-sight cannot be established with the transmission source. Able to pick up digital broadcasts from within 50-miles, the SS-2000 can also receive analog broadcasts from up to 45 miles away without degradation in picture quality.
Its compact size allows it be mounted virtually anywhere from the rooftop, to an outside wall – even the floor or a railing. Mounted above a satellite dish the SS-2000 will diplex with the satellite system and provide both broadcast and satellite signals through one coax cable for easy installation and ease-of-use.
