With its matte screen and IPS panel, this set is very watchable regardless of where you sit or stand. It does lack some of the features that have become almost standard with these TV, but it is a really economical TV set that just happens to have good quality.

The Panasonic Viera TC-37LZ85 has a 1920 x 1080 resolution combined with a 10 000:1 contrast ratio. This gives the picture well defined details and really good colors that give this set decent ratings. This set also demonstrates the benefit of LCD AI technology, which combines Active Contrast and Active Light Control. This TV also lives up to the fact that you can see it from virtually anywhere in the room. This Panasonic lives up to its claim of 178 degree viewing capacity.

What I really liked about this set was the convenience of the LinK HDAVI. Once you get everything connected and set up, switching between equipment is a breeze. You might want to adjust the settings slightly when using gaming systems and other equipment. It takes a little time, but considering you only have to do this once, it isn’t that big of a deal. You might be a little disappointed to find out that there is no actual PC input, but this takes nothing to rectify.

This Panasonic falls a little flat in the sound department, but it is better than a lot of the bigger and more expensive sets. The remote isn’t exactly wonderful, but it’ll do. Overall, it is a good, affordable option for smaller spaces.

  2. I want to know know if the Samsung BD-P1590 bluu ray player is working with Panasonic Viera HD TVs? How about buying some blueray player as a BD gift for my mom, however I need to be confident that it will work with the Panasonic TC-P42S2 42-Inch 1080p HDTV with Viera Image Viewer that already in house. Anybody?
