Rating: 1 (very poor) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2011-05-02
Summary:
You are familiar with \Let the buyer beware\. It is very true here. This antenna may good for one day. Then it is very poor. The people at Summit Source are nice, but, I am afraid, they have nothing to work with. Initially, when I bought the magnavox Mant 300 , it worked for about one day. Then, suddenly, it stopped working, despite its amplifier. I would not buy this antenna again nor recommend it to my friends, if I want to keep them. I can not warn you emphatically enough, stay away from this product; it is very bad. I can only assume that the good reviews were written by owners and affiliates of this company

Magnavox MANT300 Review #1
Rating: 4 (good) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2011-02-03
Summary: MAN300
I previously wrote of the ineffectiveness of the MAN300 antennae. I also wrote the company selling it, Summit Source. They graciously consented to send a replacement at no charge. The new one works well. They absorbed not only the cost of the MAN300 antennae but also the shipping and handling. Furthermore, they did not insist that I return the original. The new one receives all the channels quite clearly. Not only the VHF channels are received clearly but also the UHF channels. In fact, it receives channels on UHF I did not know I had. Thank you.

Magnavox MANT300 Review #2
Rating: 1 (very poor) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2011-01-23
Summary: This antennae is very inferior
I recently purchased a Magnavox Man 300 antennae, anticipating that it would fulfill my needs, which are not much. I live on the 2nd floor and the transmission towers are in Manhattan a couple of miles. I thought it would be no problem. With its amplifier it hardly got me any reception. The RCA111R with no amplifier provided me all the channels I needed and then some. It does not pay to return it, what with the trip to the Post Office, the cost of shipping and the restocking fee. Too late did I realize that the one review could have been written by the company itself. Buyer beware.

Magnavox MANT300 Review #3
Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: SKenaston Date: 2010-11-09
Summary: Not Bad if used on second story...
We live in Dallas Oregon. We live in town and in a two story apartment. From the ground floor we get nothing with any indoor antenna. But from the upstairs we get 25 stations. They all come from around Portland which is 50+ miles away. I am amazed and have tried other indoor antennas working my way to this. I have the most basic RCA digital converter and you have to get very exact in your tooning, but most of those channels come without even moving the thing. What a blessing. We ran a cable down to the living room from the antenna through a splitter that also is going to our bedroom tv.

Magnavox MANT300 Review #4
Rating: 4 (good) Nickname: Kristi Date: 2010-05-07
Summary: Great Value
We\ve tried various indoor antennas that were more expensive and more modern looking but for some reason this one has worked best. We found it for 9.95 plus shipping at Summit Source online. I just ordered a second one for our bedroom. I\m not tech savvy so I can\t give a lot of detail other than that it\s worked well compared to others we\ve tried. It has to screw in to the tv versus slide in so that part is a bit of a hassle also it looks a little 1970\s -- but hey it gets the most channels.
